We prioritize dependable infrastructure, noting that missed block production can affect outcomes for both delegators and the pool.
Infrastructure
Our setup includes dedicated servers with ECC memory, solid-state drives, fiber-optic internet, and dedicated firewalls. Primary servers include bare-metal machines in Sweden alongside infrastructure from global cloud providers.
Key security
Sensitive pool keys are stored and handled on a dedicated offline computer.
Testnet participation
NORTH also operates testnet pools to support the network and test updates and features before mainnet deployment.
